Willie “Rambo” Gory

WILLIE "RAMBO" GORY 69, of 309 Lakewood Drive Union, SC, the son of the late Floyd Lee Gory and Jessie Mae Thomas Gory was born in Union, SC on January 6, 1953. He passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Heartland Health Care Center.
Willie attended public schools of Union County and was self-employed in carpentry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Curtis, Wilson, Louis, and Robert Gory, a nephew Curtis Booker, and a sister-in-law Truelora B. Gory.
Willie enjoyed spending his days fishing, hunting, watching Western shows, and spending time with his family. Willie had a heart of gold often serving others and would light up the room with his jokes. laughter, and smile.
Willie leaves precious memories to his loving and devoted family including: his companion of 35 years Mary Lou Jeter of the home; one daughter, Cheryl Jeter, one son James Worthy both of the home, two grandchildren, Brandon (Raven) McCullough of Frisco, TX and Chyance Byrd of the home; two great grandchildren, Easton and Massir McCullough of Frisco, TX; two brothers; Floyd Lee (Willie Mae) Gory of Charlotte, NC, and James (Shirley) Gory of Union, SC; one sister, Ms. Rose Gory of Union, SC; sister-in-law Suzie Gory of Greenwood, SC; four special nieces, Ashley Good of Boiling Springs, SC, Temekia Good, and Latasha Booker both of Union, SC; and Tina Dixon of Rockaway, NY; one special nephew Joshua (Amanda) Booker of Union, SC and a host of other sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were so dear to him.
