Mrs. Virgie Mae Glenn was born in Union County, South Carolina on October 10, 1944. She passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.
She is survived by a son, Jerome (Stephanie) Glenn of Kelton, SC; three daughters, Cherie (Ronald) Green of Killeen, Texas, Christina Glenn-Gregory of the home, and Evelyn (Michael) Ashmore of Greenville, SC. three brothers, Eugene Eison Sr., Bill Eison, and Micheal Henderson; five sisters, Donzell Henderson, Sally Henderson, Eva Henderson, Sandra Henderson Blue, and Gwendolyn Henderson and a host of nieces,nephews and friends. She cherished her ten grandchildren, Rashaunda Mastin, Chan Henderson, Ciara (Austin) Barmore, Jamal Green, Rashaad Gregory, Jamarcus Henderson, TJ Glenn, Makayla Ashmore, Semya Ashmore and Jaylen Glenn; and six great-grandchildren, Ryan Henderson, Judah Barmore, Nathaniel Barmore, Riley Mastin, Rayna Mastin and Kyla Barmore.
Virgie will now join her husband of 62 years Dan Glen Jr. and her parents, Tom and Everlean Henderson; a son, Perry Henderson; brothers, Sam Henderson and Lee Henderson; and sisters, Corine Baxter, Thommiseen Pharr, Celestine Hodo in the loving arms of the Lord.
