SUNRISE – Romail “Bubba” Porter was born in Paterson, New Jersey to the late Darlene Porter and Raymond Dickson..
A LIFE WELL SPENT – Romail was affectionately known by “Bubba on the ‘Mill Hill’” and by many who knew him. He was reared in the home of his grandparents, Clara Bell Porter and the late Izell Dow. They reared him to be the gentle sole that he was. He was very shy and quiet until he was comfortable around you. “Bubba” loved the colors Blue and Black, even though he was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also had a love for cars. His favorite was his brother’s Keshaun “Blue and Black Mercury Grand Marquis”. “Bubba” was loved by many and will truly be missed but never forgotten.
SUNSET – Romail passed away on June 9, 2021 at the age of 28. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Darlene Porter; Grandfather, Izell Dow; Aunts, Sabrina Porter, Carrie Ann Porter, Mary Lee Merritt, and Elenora Lee; Uncles, Bobby Porter, Wilbert Merritt; and Niece, Amarianna Brown.
THOSE WHO REMAIN – Romail leaves to cherish fond memories his Father, Raymond Dickson; Grandmother, Clara Bell Porter; three Brothers, Keshaun (Vanessa) Porter, Avery Gray both of Union, SC and NiJeah Porter of Hallifax, NC; three Sisters, Evony Porter of Midland Park, NJ, Shadia Porter of Newberry, SC and Tracie Gray of Union, SC; four Aunts, Sylvia Porter, Annie Rose Porter Jestin Gist all of Union, SC and Helen (Edward) Merritt of Emporia, Virginia; Uncles, Michael Porter of Paterson, NJ and Jeffrey (Dorothy) Porter of Stroudsburg, PA, John Porter of Charlotte, NC and Wilbert Merritt of Emporia, Virginia; two Nieces, Ke’Arri Porter and Harmoni Brown; one Nephew Keshaun Porter; a special friend, Irish Peake; a host of cousins and friends.
