Robyn Johnson Obituary

Robyn Monique Johnson was born July 02, 1968, to the Union of Robert and Wilma Johnson.  Both of her parents preceded her in death.

         Robyn was educated in Ecorse Public school system in Ecorse Michigan. Where she graduated from Ecorse High School in 1986.  She continued her education at Wayne State University where she received an Associate’s degree and continued pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.  After relocated to South Carolina she enrolled in school to continue her pursuit until her health prevented her from completing the school term.

         Robyn, was an active member of the Usher Board and Missionary committee at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ecorse under the Pastorship of

Rev. Kevin B. Mack until she relocated to Boiling Springs South Carolina in 2018. Although she attended Old Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church faithfully until her health started to decline, her membership remained at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

         Throughout the years Robyn has worked in various positions which allowed her to enjoy one of her biggest passions of serving the public.  As a customer service representative in different companies, she was afforded the opportunity to positively impact others by helping to resolve many issues that they may have encountered. She has always been known for her love of having fun, traveling, and enjoying spending time with family and friends.

         Robyn, leaves a loving family to cherish her fun memories which includes two sisters, Stephanie Barrett and DeShannon Johnson (Detroit); four nieces Shavontae (Troy) Price, Courtney Johnson, Brianna Johnson, Melia Rucker; four great nephews; Anthony Leake-Johnson, Tristan Price, Ashton Willingham, Troy Price, III all in South Carolina; five aunts; Barbara Lowery, Cynthia (Shahib) Muhammad, Dale Barrett, Brenda Baker, Eartha Barrett and one uncle, William (Esteen)Barrett Jr. , all of Detroit Michigan; Very Special cousins (brothers) John Johnson (Bookie), Jonathan Johnson (Johnnybain), Phoenix Ferguson, Atonya Lowery and Sonya Jeter (Shondababy) and a host of cousins, family and friends.
