Margie Sims Stewart, 81, a native of Union County, South Carolina was born January 13, 1939. She was the widow of Johnnie M. (Cuz) Stewart and the daughter of the late Marion (Plute) and O’Neil Sims.
A Life Well Spent ...
She was a long time member of the Corinth Baptist Church. She served as a member of the Missionary Culinary Committee, and the Relay For Life Committee. She was a devoted Homemaker.
Sunset ...
Margie passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 3, 2020 at Union Medical Center.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Marion Reginald (Flat) Stewart; and one daughter-in-law, Sonya Smith Stewart.
Those Who Remain...
She is survived by two sons, Johnny Anthony (Stroke) Stewart of Union, SC and Ashley Martstella (Edith) Stewart of Columbia, SC; two daughters, Gloria (Billy Ray) Smith of Union SC and Marie Annette Sadler of Charlotte, NC; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Harriett (Lonnie) White of Union, SC; one sister-in-law, Catherine Means; special niece, Tiffany Lyles; special friends, Mae Young, Marie Rutherford, Christine Lott and Elizabeth Jeter; two special god-sons, Reginald Kelly and O’dell Stewart; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
