Ann Huggins

Mrs. Huggins was born October 23, 1941 in Greensboro, NC to the late Mr. and Mrs. David L. Florance Jr. She taught English, Literature and Drama in NC, CA, R.I, MN but most notable in the South Carolina School Systems from 1978 to 1994 where she was honored for Teacher Of The Year 1984.

She is survived by her husband, Staff Sargeant Samuel L. Huggins, Orangeburg, SC, her sons Lt. Commander Edwin D. Exum Westin, FL and Immanuel H. Huggins, Atlanta, GA.Two daughters Anita Exum-Coker, Greensboro, NC and Samantha L. Stone, Atlanta GA. Two son-in-laws and a Daughter in-laws. Three grandchildren. Sisters, Davetta Bristow, Greensboro, NC and Constance Madill, Dickson, TN. Sister-in-laws Barbara Flornoy and Glenda Jackson and  host of nieces and nephews.
