Aaron Allen Glenn

SGT (E5) AARON ALLEN GLENN, 76 was born September 15, 1948 to the late Eddie Glenn and Edna Jones Glenn Thomas. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his residence.
Aaron joined McBeth Baptist Church at an early age and later attended Galilee Baptist Church.
He was a 1963 graduate of Sims High School of Union, SC. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served 8 years and then became a member of the Army National Guard serving with that branch for 26 years. Aaron attended Rutledge College and Air University Institute.
Aaron was employed at Cone Mills, American Fast Print, and Greenleaf Inc. He was member of the Veterans of Foreign (VFW) and American Legion. He received numerous awards and certificates while serving with the Armed Forces.
Aaron loved life – never met a stranger. He would do or help anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Glenn and Paul Jones.
Cherishing his memories are his sisters: Amelia Glenn of the home, Lillie (J.C.) Hardy of Union, SC, Clemmie (Elijah) Ward of Jersey City, NJ, and Emma (Charles) Meadors of Spartanburg, SC; step-sister, Agnes Brice of Silver Spring, MD; step-brother, Reverend Latta Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; Godchildren, Delmar Pearson of Union, SC, Cassidy Johnson of Clinton, SC, Barbara and Teresa Means; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
